Jean-Marc Bourgeois comes from ten generations of winegrowers. He trained at the 3-star Michelin restaurant « La Côte Saint-Jacques » in 1986, the 3-star Michelin restaurant « Taillevent » in 1989 and finally at « Apicius » with Jean-Pierre Vigato, the 2-star chef. Together with Stéphane Vavon, his second de cuisine and his team, he prepares a refined, tasty and savory formula composed of revisited traditional and contemporary dishes from the Sancerre region.
The Wine list
« La Côte des Monts Damnés » restaurant suggests one of the finest selections of Sancerre wines and Centre Loire appellations. The wine list has approximately 200 selections with a majority of Sancerre whites and reds. It also offers about fifteen vintages from 1991 to today.
